Unique Chapel from 1909, restored as complete home

The chapel was completely renovated with care in 2002. All electrics, plumbing and drainage was installed new. The roof was redone.

Still when I entered the first time I was amazed at the view, a high wooden faulted ceiling dominates the nave. A large chandelier creates a focal point around which the living space is centred. The Altar is still there, but now hides the kitchen block behind it. The sacristy is now the bathroom and toilet. To the sides of the entrance hall two small bedrooms have been made, each with its double bed, maybe there where the confession cubicles where. Upstairs where the choir sang, is an open space, used by the present owners as extra sleeping area.

To the front a private courtyard area for outside dining, south facing. To the side, through an arched passage a small side courtyard used for storage. The road that passes through the village is just outside, To one side the old "Lavoir", the old covered common wash place filled with water from the stream.
