Next to the kitchen is a south facing terrace covered with climbing plants, making it a lovely place to relax in the shade and admire the views over the rolling Mâconnais hills in the distance. In the centre of the garden is the original stone bread oven, now used as a barbecue area.
A recently installed traditional bakery and small grocery shop is about 1.5 kms away in the neighbouring village. Other local shops and services can be found in the pleasant town of Joncy at 8 kms, with a larger supermarket and bi-lingual medical centre in St Bonnet de Joux at 11 kms.
Centrally located for many popular touristic towns such as Cluny, Buxy, Charolles all around 25 kms away.
