Charming cottage

A typical burgundian style cottage with beamed ceiling, terracota tiled floors, exposed stone walls. On the other side of the small village street, a nice garden with built BBQ. Behind the house, 30 m away, a garage with a shared courtyard.
The house counts 3 floors : On the garden level, in a small building is adjoining the house, there is a bright summer kitchen organised to have the washing-machine and dish washer. On the same floor, under the living area, a vaulted cellar with a well.

We reach the first floor by an inside stone staircase. Enter in the living room with terracotta tiles and oak beamed ceiling. All around, the upper part of the walls is made of exposed stone. The lower part is white, which enlighten the room.

To one side, the fireplace with an inserted wood burner that heats up the house and a cupboard with old doors allowing to pass wooden logs directly from the wood storage to the living room without going outside.

A door and a French door let the light in on the south side.

The room is large enough to host a lounge corner, a table and chairs next to the open plan kitchen.

In a corner, a bathroom with WC and a window.

To go under the eaves, an architect’s ladder takes you to the last floor. The dormer windows open views on the valley. The original terracotta tiles and oak beams are reminders of the Burgundy style.

O the way the second bedroom, there is an oak in the passageway to overstep.

The second bedroom is a nice room with two windows and beautiful beams.

Outside, along the house, access to the woodshed and a little bit further, access to a path leading to the shared courtyard. A little further a semi-detached building hosts the garage

This charming property is an ideal base for a stay or stop over in Burgundy.
