The house is composed of 2 buildings, one with 2 floors, the one on the street and the other with 3 floors, at the back. A series of old oak staircases allow you to move from one building to another, bringing an atypical character and offering many intimate spaces.
Overlooking the street, a store, a garage and a gate leading to the courtyard. From the courtyard you can access a small kitchen adjoining the store (which was once a dining room) well arranged with a central marble island.
A few steps lead to the 2nd building where there is a large 46 m² living room, very well lit by its 2 rows of windows to the north and south.
Going up to the left on level 1 of the first building, you arrive at a mezzanine style boat cabin with, on the ground, a beautiful marine wooden floor, currently used as an office. From there you can access 2 bedrooms overlooking the street with a shower room and WC on the landing.
From the mezzanine, as you continue to climb, you take other stairs that lead to the right in the 2nd building and to the left in the 1st building.
There we arrive on a landing flanked by large cupboards used as dressing rooms with at the back a master suite whose apparent framework has been left rough, revealing all its charm. This 40 m² ground floor bedroom with a very high and sloping roof, a floating parquet floor, 2 windows on the ground on the street side and a large velux on the courtyard side, allows you to have a private lounge open onto the bedroom area with bath and WC. By the other staircase we reach the living room where there are 2 other bedrooms with large cupboards and each with its window facing one to the south and the other to the north.
The 3rd level, accessible by a ladder-style staircase, has been converted into a children's playroom. Two large velux panels illuminate this spacious room with its beautiful frame, its original parquet floor made of large oak planks painted blue.
From the courtyard you can access the L-shaped verandah, a summer lounge, with a skylight to the south. At the back, in the corner, a guest room en suite, with its bathtub and toilet area and sink.
From this same small courtyard, we descend by a stone staircase into beautiful vaulted cellars along the length of the 2 buildings, enough to collect many good bottles!
