The owners come in via the courtyard and then up the wooden outside staircase to the kitchen upstairs. The formal entrance is off the street via a grand stone hallway with wide stone staircase leading to the salon upstairs.
This salon is large at 66m2, with high ceilings and many windows letting light in and giving views of the private courtyard below. Off this salon the kitchen. The kitchen is about 18m2, with a dining area to the back.
Around the grand hallway access to the master bedroom of 25m2 and the smaller room used today as office (8.4m2). On this floor a bathroom with toilet. The ceilings are all with oak beams, the floors are either clay tiles in the salon, or formal parquet floors (Versailles type) for the main bedroom.
Downstairs two more bedrooms and the summer living room. These two bedrooms are large at 22m2 minimum each. Off one is a bathroom with toilet. The sumer living room is 25m2, and is cosy with a grand stone fire place. Across the covered courtyard (where the stairs are for the kitchen, is the fourth bedroom of 10m2.
Off the garden the garage, and workshop. In the workshop the mains gas fired central heating. Via the courtyard we also have access to the large vaulted cellar.
The garage and courtyard are accessed via a narrow hallway, closed from the street by grand wooden doors. The courtyard is private and sunny.
A wonderful historical house for the lover of character at walking distance to many amenities.

The southern part of the Morvan up to the lakes and Autun
The furthermost department of Burgundy, with Chalon sur Saone as its main city, and Macon as its capital. Loved because of its Rivers and canals and the many cycle routes along them. A wide variety of landscpapes: The fertile Bresse plain to the east, the wine hills in the middle, and rolling country side with charollais cows to the west.
