The house was built in 1826 as a hunting lodge, with place for the horses, carriages, dogs etc. The present owners bought this as a ruin with leaking roofs. Since 2005 they have devotedly renovated it to a magnificent spacious house with maximum insulation and all comforts.

The main house has 350m2 habitable, and space to develop more rooms and habitable space if one wishes. All windows are double glassed, all walls and ceilings are well insulated.

Enter into a hall with windows and the magnificent oak staircase to the first floor. To the left a corridor leading to a guest toilet and laundry room. The formal salon is relatively small with 22 m², when compared to the large family room next door with 44m² where the kitchen and dining area are. This big room has french doors to the garden on the east and the west side, letting in a lot of light. This large family room has a open fire place and a kitchen in one corner with a stone wash basin. Also on the ground floor a hallway leading to a master bedroom en suite, an office, a second bedroom with shower, a toilet and a magnificent round room with original wooden cupboards.

On the first floor large shower room, three bedrooms a separate toilet and very large play room of 75m²!

Attached to the house, a barn used as garage and workshop as well as the wood pellet boiler and its 4 tons wood pellet storage silo. Above the barn, 60m² loft, that could be renovated to extend the first floor habitable space.

Behind the house on the south west, a large terrace with pool of 9,5 by 4,5 meters. It is heated and covered with a removable perspex roof. Next to the pool a small wooden pool house with filters and pump. Behind the wall a heat pump for the pool.

The old caretakers house is a ruin today, but can be turned into a guest house with 24m² foot print on the ground floor. Under it a vaulted cellar used by present owners as their wine storage.

On the other side of the garden a garden shed and wood stock area.

The Entrance is gated, with trees lining the access to the house, to the right of the entrance the beautiful pond fed by under water source. The owners have cleaned it and maintained the fish fauna in it.
