Renovated hunters lodge with pool and 5 bedrooms

In quiet farming hamlet in between Nolay and Autun. Former hunting lodge completely renovated to 5 bedroom family house with pool and pond on more than one hectare.

The house was built in 1826 as a hunting lodge, with place for the horses, carriages, dogs etc. The present owners bought this as a ruin with leaking roofs, and no utilities. Since 2005 they have devotedly renovated it to a magnificent spacious house with maximum insulation and all comforts.

The main house has 350m2 habitable, and space to develop more rooms and habitable space if one wishes. All windows are double glassed, all walls and ceilings are well insulated.

Enter into hall with windows on both sides, and the magnificent oak staircase to the first floor. Just to the left a guest toilet and storage room ( freezers and laundry equipment). The formal salon is relatively small at 22 m2, when compared to the large family room next door of 44m2 where the kitchen and dining area are. Both rooms have french doors to the garden, letting in a lot of light. The large family room has a open fire place. Also in this room beamed ceiling and kitchen in one corner with stone wash basin. The salon has wooden floor. Also on the ground floor hallway giving to master bedroom, office, bedroom 2 with shower, and magnificent old room with original wooden cupboards giving this room a round surface. the master bedroom has its walk in closet and attached shower room. In this hallway also a family toilet.

On the first floor large shower room, three bedrooms and very large games room of 75m2! Detached toilet.

Attached to the House barn used as garage and workshop, to the side wood pellet boiler and its 4 tons wood pellet storage silo. Above the barn, 60m2 loft, that can be used to extend the first floor habitable space.

Behind the house on the south west large terrace with pool of 9,5 by 4,5 meters pool. It is heated and covered with a removable perspex roof. On same area, small wooden chalet with filters, and behind wall, heat pump for the pool.

Old caretakers house is a ruin today, but can be turned into a nice house with 24m2 foot print on the ground floor. Under it a vaulted cellar used by present owners as their wine storage.

To the other side of the garden a garden shed and wood stock area.

The Entrance is gated with trees lining the access to the house, to the right of the entrance the beautiful pond fed by under water source. the owners have cleaned it and maintained the fish fauna in it.

The large grass field is lined with trees acting as a wind breaker. Large enough for a horse or two.

A wonderful house, in perfect condition, on the outskirts of the charollais farming hamlet, but at just a few kilometers of the burgundy wines and beautiful Morvan.
