The park “Entre Champagne et Bourgogne” opens in 2012.
Last July Minister Fillon announced the formation of the 11th national park in France covering an area between Champagne and Burgundy - more precisely, the north east of the Cote d’Or , and the southern part of the Haute Marne department. Villages involved are Arc en Barois, Chateauvillain, Langres and Chatillon sur Seine. Geographically speaking, it covers the Plateau de Langres and the Chatillon forest areas, and will be more than 80 000 hectares in size.
